Can I suggest a book if you haven't read it or even heard of it...It's called Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. I read it when Alex was first born because I really needed my sleep and wanted him sleeping through the night. It was the best thing I could have ever done for us. He is a sleep champ. Just within the last month or two he has switched to one nap (he's 19 months) and I keep this book on hand to read up on what he should be doing or if I have questions if something isn't working. It's great!

you know, i was watching supernanny on ABC and she recommended that nap time only be about 2 hours so that the child wont have trouble with bed time. nattie wont sleep for more than 2 hours at a time for nap time unless she's not feeling well
