Jack's mommy

I confess, I did this to Jack 3 days in a row this week. We were traveling and visiting family so we just had to roll with it. But for 3 days he didn't go in his crib to nap. Instead it was a quick 40 minutes in the car here and a quick 30 minutes on a plane there.
Ah well. He seems OK!

Funny story, though. There was a day when I was driving to his crib at my mom's house and I just couldn't keep him up until we got there. If he falls asleep in the car during nap time, I am finished. I will generally not be able to get him to go down. His little body takes that to be his nap. Even if it's just 20 minutes. Sound familiar to anyone?

So you should have seen me sitting at a red light a few blocks from my mother's house the other day. I'm desperately reaching back and trying to wake Jack up. I was singing and making faces and being ridiculous and this lady at the light next to me was staring at me. LOL. Did I wake him up? NO. Did he go down for me when we got home? NO.
Big sigh. Gotta love napping in the fly.
