I'm curious - what time do you ladies go to bed? Has having kids made you go to bed earlier?
See, I've always been a night owl. And I thought having a baby would make me go to bed earlier. Nope. I still go to bed too late. And suffer the next day when my son is ready to play at 6 am. After several nights in a row of this, I will inevitably crash early one night and "catch up" on my sleep. Then do it all over again. LOL.
If having a baby hasn't made me go to bed earlier, I don't know what will.

I seldom go to bed before midnight. The 14/13 year olds go to bed--at least go to their rooms--no later than 10. After that, I am able to watch a TV show that I like...thank goodness for TiVo. I know I should go to bed earlier, too. But, I feel like I need my 'me' time. I don't get much of that during the day. Like just now, I am typing with a toddler in my lap... got Up To Ten on half the screen (listeing to songs)while I'm busy on the other half.

LOL at that image of you multi-tasking. Big Grin
Yeah, I agree. That's MY time. So I don't want it to end. At the expense of sleep. I LOVE DVR!

Sleep? What is that? I own a bed and I wonder why sometimes. Much like my wallet - it's pretty and leather and it has photos in it, but no money - what is up with that anyway?

I have always been one that would be in bed around 10:00pm. Our 16 year old goes to be at 9:00pm - our 3 1/2 month old is in bed at 7:30 at the latest. I am not far behind!! I have to be up and running at 4:30am everyday. It didn't really change much, just by an hour or so - so much more to do in so little time!!!!

Wow I crashed hard last night. Voluntarily went to bed at 9:30. How nice to be well-rested today. I should do it more often. But I know I won't! LOL

Lately, I've been making myself go to bed by 2 a.m. I have to get up and be at work by 8:00 a.m. My girls are usually down no later than 9 a.m. They don't go to daycare, so they aren't on a very strict schedule.
From about 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., I am usually playing with my computer, organizing toys, shoes, kitchen cabinets, closets, etc. I've also been swapping out all the girls' summer clothes for winter clothes. I fell that once I get everything in its place, I will be able to rest a little better and hopefully go to bed when everyone else in the house does.
I really need a break!

Wow, 2 am! You win the night owl award! LOL. I've been going to bed at midnight and I really need to get to bed sooner. But I hear ya on getting things done at night. I'm usually pretty productive late at night too. Lately I've been working, Christmas shopping online, returning emails, etc.

Well Dylan is just beginning sleeping through the night and he goes to bed between 9 and 10 so I get in bed around 11 , but I have always been in bed before midnight I am not a night owl. Which is pretty funny since I worked midnight shift up until the day I went in labor.

Well, I am definitely NOT in the "thin zone" when it comes to hours of sleep I get a night. In fact, if this article is true, I will weigh about 500 pounds soon.
Ugh. More coffee....
