Can anyone recommend an overnight diaper I can use on Jack? Way too often, he wakes up wet. The diapers just aren't holding it all in at night. We use Pampers and I love them otherwise.

We had the same problem when ours was about that age. We used something that I think was called "Overnites.' It's made by either Pampers or Huggies. But it worked well for us at night & it was also GREAT for long car trips!

Ronald was waking up soaking wet, and I was washing alot of sheets . We bought the Pampers overnights pullups too, and he hasn't been wet since. I think the first size they make is 2T-3T, but Ronald is already wearing size five diapers, so they fit him fine. I also limit him to half a cup of water with dinner, instead of the whole cup he was drinking, and that helped alot as well.

Yeah, I'm going to pick up the Overnites today. I limit his drinking with dinner too. But that isn't working anymore. Hmmmm. Jack is in a size 3 diaper. I hope they make Overnites that small.

The kind we bought came in all the baby sizes, so it may not have been the Overnites. We got them at Walmart, though. And, if I'm remembering right, they were never easy to find. One month we'd go in and they'd have only size 1 and size 2, the next time they'd only have size 3, then they'd only have size 2 or 4 .. it was extremely frustrating! I always wondered if they didn't keep them stocked because hardly anyone used them. I still can't believe we were the only ones who had a problem with night-time wetness!
Anyway, good luck. And if you don't see Jack's size, ask them to order it or something.

I think the size 2T-3T overnightes say 26-37 pounds or something like that. But they are adjustable on the sides, so they should still work. Might be a little full under his butt, but you can pull the sides in some, if you need too. They might make a size smaller, I didn't see one, but I wasn't looking for one .

I used cloth diapers and sometimes had the same problem. We used diaper doublers at night for extra absorption, and I believe that you can find disposable doublers made for both disposable and cloth diapers. This link has some good ideas, including info about disposable doublers.

We use Huggies Overnights. I like them because they are diaper style (ie not pullups). They come in most sizes and we buy them at Publix. Also, if Jack is in a size 3 during the day it might work just to try a size 4 for the night. This would save you a few bucks because the Overnights are more expensive.

I was in WalMart today and didn't see any for a child who weighed less than 32 pounds. So I didn't get anything. Bummer.
Hmmmm, maybe I will pick up size 4 diapers.

I agree with LawMommy. Diaper doublers might be a quick fix, if nothing else. I actually saw some in Publix the other day. We were out of the house and needed a diaper fast. I accidentally picked these up thinking they were a small pack of diapers--fortunately I figured it out before paying. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known they were there.

I think I'm going to just pick up some size 4 dipes today.
He was wet again this morning.

I found Huggies Overnites and they worked like a charm! Yay! (a bit big - littlest I could get was for 27 lb baby and Jack isn't quite there yet but oh well)
