I am convinced that Preston has nightmares. He will cry/scream in his sleep for no reason. Is it possible that he is having nightmares? If he is what do I do for him? Or is this something normal that babies do?

Jack has done this too. It's tough to listen to, huh? I asked around when he was going through it (he still sometimes does it) and everyone told me there's not much you can do. If Jack doesn't wake up I let him go. If he wakes up I pick him up and try to comfort him. I wonder what they dream about?

I sometimes wonder if Lily is having a nightmare too because sometimes she will let out a scream or horrible cry all of a sudden and sometimes she will wake up crying hysterically even though we are right beside her . (She sleeps in our bed, we co-sleep.)
I actually have the book "What To Expect the First Year" and "What To Expect the Toddler Years" and I read something about that in there that says you should not wake them or pick them up if they are till asleep while doing this but stay there with them until it stops.
