Jack's mommy |
I know you ladies can soooo relate to this one.
So Jack takes a nap every morning at 10:30 am. Every morning. He rarely refuses his nap. Well, yesterday we had a birthday party and then family driving in from out of state to stay with us. So it was a big day. And what does Jack decide to do....NOT NAP. He stayed in his crib for ever, just babbling and singing and talking to himself. Finally, I had to get him up and get him ready for the party. He did pretty well, but was a little crankier than usual. He crashed in the car on the way home from the party but we couldn't do the switch from car seat to crib without waking him. So....20 minute nap it was. Hey, better than nothing, right? He still managed to play with his cousins from NC all night and stay up past his bedtime. But man did he take a good nap today. LOL Doesn't it just figure that he'd choose such a busy day to get through on no sleep? LOL ![]() |

Oh boy do I know what you mean!!
Alex doesn't usually take naps anymore, but if we have to go somewhere in the afternoon, he'll go and fall asleep on the couch and it'll be at Alyssa's nap time too. So if we weren't going anywhere I might have caught a little break or maybe even a quick nap! But nope, never seems to work like that! Niki, wife to Thatcher, mommy to Jacob(5), Alex(3), and Alyssa(11mts) |
