We definetley had a rough afternoon over here. I tried putting Olivia down for her nap at her regular time, 12:30, but she just wasn't having it. She was really upset and screaming, which isn't like her, so I went to check on her and it sounded like she was having trouble with her acid reflux. So i got her out and held her for a while and she calmed down and fell asleep only to wake up screaming the second her head touched her pillow. I gave her some of her medicine and a cup of milk hoping that would settle her tummy and let her sit on the couch watching cartoons hoping she would calm back down and go to sleep. Finally at 1:45 she was just so whinny I decided to try putting her back in her crib and see what happens. She threw about a 5 minute fit and then crashed. We rarely having days like today so it just makes it seem so much worse. Uhhhhh!!!!!

I'm sorry that Olivia had a bad day. You are lucky thought if that only happens once in a while. It happens nearly everyday with Lily. Infact, most days she skips her nap completley even though she is exhausted.. she's a big sleep fighter.

Sorry y'all had a bad day! Will was a little off today too. He's been napping about 2 hours and today he woke up after about one hour and would not go to sleep. Then he was cranky half the afternoon. But he went to bed earlier than usual tonight. He was in bed at 7:30!

Sorry you had a bad day with the naps, LM! It happens to all of us but it's never fun.

Thanks for letting me vent girls. Things were much better after she woke up Isn't it funny how things always go wrong on the day when you really need them to take a nap ?
