My son is in love with "backis-ball," as he calls it. We live in a cul-de-sac and there is a large one out there for the neighborhood kids to play with and Jack just loved to stand under that "backis" and hold that ball and stare up. LOL. The other day I had to stand there and watch him stand like that. He didn't want to dribble, he didn't want to roll the ball, he didn't want me to pick him up to throw it. He just wanted to stand and stare in awe, clutching the ball.
Well, last night daddy came home with a pint-sized basketball hoop and Jack is in love. He played last night and wanted to play first thing this morning. We pick him up to slam dunk but he's also getting brave and trying to make baskets from the ground on his own.
Of course, my foyer is now a basketball court. Not sure how I feel about that...
Speaking of bball ... Anabelle wants to do the under 6 basketball that para offers. Has anyone done this before and/or have any opinions on it? Wondering if 4 and 1/2 is too young ... and what all is involved.
