hereagain247 Posted 05 December 2008 03:31 AM Hide Post hey I am new here but I was thinking about doing a mini consignment sale at my business that is only open on the weekends. and I was wondering if any of you would be interested in helping me by selling your stuff. my thing is the twice a year just makes it pile up too much I am like the TOP seller at all the little sales I buy WAY too much and I have totes and totes of stuff I can't price it all and it is overwhelming. I love a bargain I love gymboree and gap and all the boutique stuff and I certainly have enough to start a sale but of course it'll only be fun for me if I find some goodies too.LOL But I don't know how to get the word out to make it sucessful. I would like to do a gymboree/gap/boutique/customs sale only KWIM? then like the next week or so do a boys Polo, khakis, jeans, church clothes, then maybe a mommy and baby sale 0-24mth only , baby gear, mat. clothes. I wish I had time to do a toy sale b4 christmas ....what are your thoughts would this work would any of you be interested?
If you get something like this set up, I would be happy to participate. I have bags and bags and bags of baby clothes and toys and such. I usually wind up yard sale selling it all, but I'd love to participate in something like this.
Oh - most of the stuff is also babygap, gymboree, old navy, etc.

Welcome! I would be interested too. But, not as a seller... as a shopper. We are keeping most all of Will's stuff since we plan on having another child after a while. Also, I don't have much brand name stuff anyway. But if you get this set up I would probably come to the sale to shop. I love to find bargains too!
everyone that is interested in selling and or buying please let me know what size, gender and brands (mostly) I want to have a good rounded sale so it would benefit whoever stopped by. I have girls probably 12mth-3t gymbo, gap, boutiques and some custom stuff. boys 18mth-3t ralph lauren like not kidding 20 shirts. khakis, tons of jeans, carharts, some gymbo. some gap, and big girls size 8-14 in tops, pants 7-8 1/2. gymboree,limited2, gap, some other stuff not big name but cute. so help me fill in and would love to find someone with goodies in the next sizes for my kiddos.--OH BTW I will be having these sales during the week mon-tues maybe wed and or thurs too if schedule premits at SUPERSKATE big building HUH? I think it'll work out pretty good we have a storage room at the end that is jam packed with my kids stuff LOL and I bought some rolling racks and will just roll them off the floor for the weekend sessions and of course parties. so keep on replying would love to do something ASAP maybe sometime in Jan or Feb. Also I need ideas on getting the word out too.
I am interested in buying. I would buy boys clothing size 18 months. It doesn't really matter the brand as long as the item is in good condition! As far as getting the word out other than what you have already done maybe you could put an ad in the newspaper under garage sales or something?
