Nooo ... it's REAL Kristi!! I have been hearing about this for a few months now. Go to their website - I think it's just www.nkotb.com. I am sooo excited it's ridiculous. At 31 I have no business being this ecxited. LOL.
But I still remember my mom camping out with me in 5th grade for concert tix, and papering my room in posters and crying over how in love I was with Joey ... LOL
They are going to PERFORM together on the today show this Friday!! My DVR is already set, I am so lame.

I am so excited NKOTB are back. I was so in love with Joey too. I can't wait to see them in concert again. I'm waiting on them to announce more tour dates and hopefully they will come to Atlanta.
A friend from high school who I haven't heard from in a really long time called me at 7:30 am to tell me to turn on the Today Show, so we could re-live our 8th grade dance skit performance to "Hangin' Tough."
Too funny that they're back. Donnie should seriously rethink the vest look, though.
Kristi - hahaha!!! I forgot to DVR but watched it on youtube this morning.
Is it sad that I let out a little yelp when Joey sang Please Don't Go Girl. That was "our song" back in the day . LOL (mine and Joey's, b/c you know, we were getting married and all).
Wow. I totally admit my lameness. And in a heartbeat I would go if they come here. We can do a girl's night out!

I recorded it this morning but haven't had a chance to watch yet. I did see earlier today that they had announced more tour dates. I was disappointed that Atlanta was the only close date. It was in the middle of my month end week at work so I can't take off to go. Still hoping they will add B'ham, Nashville, Memphis or New Orleans.
Did any of you hear them of the top 40 program on 94.1 yesterday? They played one of their new songs. My husband was picking fun and started pretending to puke LOL! I just couldn't imaging 30 something men singing the same type of songs with the same enthusiasm they did as teenagers. I can imagine it would be quite funny in person. Although I am a few years behind you guys and they were fading when I became old enough to care. So I was never a big fan or knew much about them at all. But I found myself giggling imagining these grown men singing and dancing about like 17 year olds. Sorry to poke fun ladies! But you have to admit it is kind of funny. Especially with my DH cracking me up. He called his younger sister and the had a laugh together b/c when she was young, she ran up a $1300 phone bill calling the NKOTB chat line. He was laughing recalling how his mom reacted and how his sister had her room covered in posters and everything NKOTB.

LOL! Sorry NKOTB fans but I'm with Ronaldsmom. I was never a fan. And I DO find it odd that they're singing the same kind of music. But, really, what else are they going to do? Bust out in rock music? They should have just let things be. But hey. That's just me. I know plenty of people are thrilled right now. See, I was into the hair bands back in the day. So, if, say, Skid Row were to reunite, I'd be jumping up and down and not thinking it weird at all that they're still singing "18 and a Life." LOL
