I was really surprised at the bottom three too. I didn't think Jason or Chikeze had stellar weeks, but they are both MUCH better singers than Christy or Ramiele.
And Sayesha had a fantastic night on Tuesday - no idea how she got there. I am so ready for Christy to go. I don't think she's very good, and I think she only made it this week because - like Simon said - she chose a "clever" song. Gag. |

I think Syesha made a huge mistake in song choice last night. She didn't touch Whitney, and that's all I kept thinking of the whole time she was singing, even in the first half of the song when it was more like the Dolly version.
Carly did very well, and David Archuleta did great, although there is something that is starting to bug me about him (a little too sweet and deferential, maybe?). Michael Johns performed well, but his voice is no match for most of the other contestants. I actually thought Ramiele did better last night than usual, although I agree that her days are numbered. ANd as you all know by now, I'm ready for Christy Lee Cook to go!http://news.aol.com/entertainment/television/tv-news-st...20080402071609990001 Did y'all see that David Cook had to go to the hospital after he performed last night? |

I too am ready for Ramielle to go. Both David's did well, and so did Jason for once. Kristy did ok, but even though I like her, I agree her days are numbered and she is not among the best. Jason did much better than usual, although I still don't think he will make to the top 4 or 5. I liked that Syesha chose a huge song, and although not as good as Whitney's, she still did a great job for such a young singer.
I love David Cook's haircut. Mucho better. David Archuletta is begining to bug me to. He is very young though, so maybe his sweetness is genuine. Can you believe what Simon said to Carly. I was shocked. She looked great (the best I have seen her look), and he almost made her cry on national television. I wanted to reach through the screen and slap him! I think Simon must have had some bad sushi before the show b/c he was unusually harsh to all of them. |

The show last night was a bit... boring. Am I just losing interest?
I agree with LawMommy on her take on everybody... and DA is getting annoying. I hadn't heard that about David Cook--brother has cancer. Sad. I don't think Brooke's banter with the judges is helping her any...makes her seem a little too cocky. I though that Ramiele would come to Kristy's rescue last week, but Chikezie was her surprise savior--with Ramiele as a back-up. This week, I think it will be Ramielle's turn. LawMommy, you might have to wait another week. LOL Do any of you ever check out Dialidol.com? It was pretty accurate last week. |

I kind of agree with Simon, kristi. I DO think that Carly's hair and make-up look better than ever. When I first saw her, I thought how pretty she looked... a softer look, perhaps. But, I agree about the clothes. They are not flattering on her--and I don't think it has anything to do with HER. I don't think it is something to be said on national television.

I totally agree that last night was on the boring side. BUT, I'm not a Dolly OR country fan, so I knew going in it wouldn't be that great for me.
Ok, time to dish. I thought David Archuletta was great. He has an amazing voice, but forgive me for saying this girls, I just want to reach through the screen and flick him. I know he's young, and I guess it MIGHT be genuine, but I find his personality soooo annoying. If he says "REALLY?" or gets that deer in the headlights look one more time i am going to scream. So, I hope they tell him to lose that a bit since his voice is so great. Brooke is getting on my nerves. You're nice. We get it. I'm sorry - I'm so mean!! I do think she has a nice voice but it hasn't been great in my opinion the last few weeks. I really really love David Cook. Thought he did great last night - the hair is sooooo much better. I was bored during Michael Johns song, so I was surprised the judges loved it, but I really like him, so I'm hoping he stays. Jason did well IMO too - I like him. I thought Sayesha made a mistake too. I like her, so I'm sad. I think she did ok on the Dolly part, but her voice was nowhere near big enough for the rest, so she sounded screechy at times. Christy Lee Cook just needs to GO HOME. I get embarassed for her when she sings. She just rubs me the wrong way. Ramiele goes downhill every week. I didn't think she did terrible last night, but she just seemed SOOO good during auditions, and I don't know what happened. Ok, I think the only one left is Carly. I thought she sounded really good - definitely better than the judges thought. I do agree with Simon on the style stuff though. I think she's very pretty ... but I think whoever is giving her style advice is the same one giving Ramiele style advice. And neither were looking great last night. Would I have said it on tv? No. But what else can you expect? He also told that one girl - the one who did Britney Spears impressions - that she only had a personality when she pretended to be someone else. Ouch. Anyone watch Hell's Kitchen premiere last night? Another of my trashy faves ... up there with the bachelor :-) |

I agree with y'all that David Cook's hair looks way better now. But I don't agree with Simon about Carly, and I think it was crappy of him to say what he did when he did. She had been all smiley and beaming, and her face just fell and she looked like she was going to cry. Maybe her outfit wasn't the most flattering, but I don't think it was bad enough for him to do that to her.
So FunnyMummy predicts it will be Ramiele to leave tonight. I'm saying either Ramiele or Syesha. Other predicitons? |
