And those are good points, FM! I don't mind a mess with just one, but it would be extremely hard to tolerate with three or more. Same thing with having the kids get up & down 20 times during a meal... |

poor Jon!!
If I had 6 + 2 yea they would def still be seated in high chairs and wearing bibs!! Jacob was in his high chair till almost 3, when Alex was old enough and needed it. lol Alex was in it until we moved here, so right around 2.5. I'll keep Alyssa in her's till somewhere between 3 and 4. don't plan on having another one to take it before then. Both boys wore bibs till they were out of highchairs. Hey, so they are normal!! And I woulda kept mine in a highchair forever if he'd have let me! Have I mentioned before that he slept in his crib until he was almost 2.5? And he still talks about it & says he misses it... Anyway, they're all different, right?! |

Staying on the subject of bibs: Whats the point in labeling and laying inividual bibs out on the counter for the babysitter? Wouldn't one stack labeled "bibs" work just fine? LOL

Jack's mommy |
I watched this last night and it was the gum-on-the-bear episode and now I know what you ladies were talking about.
I was actually choked up when Kate was threatening to throw the bear away! Poor little Joel was standing behind her crying, saying, "But he's my buddy!" It just tore my heart out! I'm so glad she didn't throw it away. Sorry for the delayed reaction. LOL Oh, and we're still using bibs and the highchair over here....but Jack is only 17 months... ![]() |

I watch the show, it does get interesting.
But Kate is to uptight. Not wanting to let her kids do fun things because they will "get dirty" and she'll have a mess to clean up. I've seen her take her children on outings where they will do things to get messy, and her reactions prevent her from having a good time. Example, when the little ones decorated cupcakes. I could tell Kate was cringing the whole time at the thought they would get icing all over them. She needs to get a life and realize kids will do things to get dirty, let them have fun doing, and stop putting a damper on their fun. Soap and water will clean up the mess. Thank goodness John, who seems to be a bit hen-pecked, is there to balance it out and allow the kids to do fun things. |

yea but i can see how she would feel that way. I know how much it takes to clean up after my 3, I cringe when they do stuff like that. mulitply it a few times and holy crap!
