First day took a little effort. I let him run around all day(and part of day 2) naked... seems to work best for me. I just sat him on the potty every 30 min or so; and, on the big potty (with seat adapter) so he couldn't get up. A couple of accidents the first couple of days, but that's it. I really think that when they can see what's going on when they have an accident, it makes more sense to them.

Now, he tells me every time! He goes w/in seconds of being put on the potty. We even went shopping with him twice and he told me in Walmart, the Galleria (twice), and in the car. My only complaint (if I can call it that) is that he seems to want to go too often. I think he will eventually start waiting longer.

And when he has to do #2, he says: "Mommy right back", which means get out!!! I just stand at the door (and peek at the mirror or thru the crack) and listen for him to say "Good job" LOL. (Which sounds like "odd job")

Everybody always says that girls are easier than boys, but with my 2 boys, it was much easier than with my daughter. She did fine, but was still having about one accident a day for a couple of weeks.

Yeah! The thing that prompted me to do the potty training the day that I did was the fact that I had run out of diapers! I was changing his diaper just before bedtime and realized that I didn't have another. After searching everywhere, I finally found a lone diaper in the car. (Whatever you need, you can always find it there.) It was then that I decided that I just didn't want to buy another pack. I have since found a couple more diapers... I'll save them for when I can't find a pull-up for bedtime. Smiler
