I am just so enchanted by my son's new motor skills that I have to brag a little. I hope you guys will brag a little too 'cause it's fun to hear all the cute things they do!

Lately, Jack has been blowing kisses and leaning into us and giving us kisses on the cheek. And I just melt every time he does it. And he can never do it just once, mind you. At night, he makes his rounds like 3 times with the kisses and then blows kisses to his dad over my shoulder as I haul him off to bed. LOL.

He is also trying to wink. It's the cutest thing. He can't do one eye like us so he does both when he tries to mimic us. LOL.

And the dancing! This kid is always dancing! Anything sets him off - ringing cell phones, commercials, toys...

And today I taught him to say "hi."

This is such a fun age! They are such sponges.
OK. That's it for now. Just had to share. Big Grin

I love it when I hear my girls playing together in their room (playing mommy) and phrases and things I say are coming out of their mouths. Stuff I say on the phone to my own mother and sister and things I usually tell them to do and even the bossy timeout mommy stuff too. It's hysterical to hear me coming out of them verbatim!!

Jack is now saying "All done!" and we just keep asking him to repeat it. It's so cute. He also says "teddy," referring to his teddy bear. And I swear yesterday he said thank you. During the Super Bowl, we had him throwing his hands up and saying "touchdown." Of course, his version was more like "ta da!" LOL

He is starting to repeat lots of things we say, or at least try to. And every time we hear something new we get all excited. LOL. It's hard to imagine him talking in sentences. I'm just trying to enjoy this phase before it is gone.

Ronald in almost the same age, so I know what you mean. He has a fascination with phones. Any kind. He will pick up anything that even remotely looks like a phone and put it to his ear. The other day he even put the tv remote to his ear and said "hello". It was soooo cute, we almost died. He has started sharing his food too. We can give him something, and ask for some, and he will give it too us, then we give it back. They are soooo sweet at this age. I want him to stay here forever....

We've just learned all our colors:
ret, geen, boo, oranch, puhpul, yeWHOA, pink, back, bown, and ite!

Well, we've got a little fine tuning to do!

OK, so I have to share this.
Yesterday I popped in a CD of learning songs and the song was singing the vowels (a,e,i,o,u). Well, Jack had never heard this song before. And he certainly doesn't know what a vowel is. But he was singing right along! And after the song was over he would repeat the vowels for me.
I called my dad and made him sing it over the phone and he did. And he did it for daddy when he got home.
I'm so proud of him! Smiler

Cute! Jack will be way ahead of the rest of his kindergarten class in a few years.

I forgot we already had a bragging post when I posted about Will crawling.

More bragging.... Will started clapping about a month or so ago. A few days ago he started saying "yay!" when he claps. I guess he has seen us say it and clap so many times he figured out they go together. Also, if I sing "If your happy and you know it clap your hands," he'll clap even before I start clapping. He also started saying Dada a few weeks ago!

I love my family

I love reading all this stuff.
Keep it coming!

Yesterday we were in the pool and I said the alphabet and Jack repeated every letter after me. He got most of them right. He struggled with a few, like "w" and "h" but he tried like heck to say them and for that I was proud!
