Ya know, before I was exposed to large groups of kids I thought whinny children were just tired or spoiled, but I am noticing a trend. Yes, they do whine when they are tired or sick or just out of sorts, but there are children that are perpectual whiners! I have to add my youngest daughter to that group. There are some children that have that whine tone to everything they say. Or maybe it's the way they state things. For example: my oldest will say, "Mommy can I have some juice" and I respond. My youngest will come into the room already 1/2 crying and say, "I want juice" and it just sends those cartoon radar chills up my spine. I have tried to work with her on this and it's NOT WORKING. I wonder why? Even in my art room the children will either ask me for something they need or whine for something they need. It's so weird. Anyone have a clue what this is about?

It's like instead of asking for their needs they already assume they are not being met so they whine their requests.

Holy whining over here lately too! Geez!
