FYI, here are some items local elementary school principals told me they do not want to see on school grounds this year. Check with the school before sending your child in with the following items.
-check the school's backpack policy because at some schools only clear or mesh bags are allowed
oh, ok. That is what I figured, but when paired with rollerskating shoes and gameboys, I was thinking something much older. I didn't think kids napped past like 1st grade.
As I understand the kindergarten nap issue, the state did away with allotted time in the school for naps in kindergarten a few years back. However, individual schools and teachers still take some time to let kids rest, mostly just the first semester and only for the kids that need it. Didn't someone post recently that the kindergarten supply list for at least one school had a rest mat on it?
