Jack's mommy |
Anyone else worry about this? We managed to get pregnant right away with Jack. It happened the second month we were trying.
But when we try for number two, will it be the same way? My step-brother had to go through years of heartache and tests and finally an expensive procedure to have number two after he had no trouble having number one. Here's some info on secondary infertility. http://www.parenting.com/article/Fertility/Infertility/...et-Pregnant----Again ![]() |

This happened to my good friend. They got pregnant with their first daughter on the second month of trying. They tried for 9 months for their second before going to see an RE. They did finally get pregnant but needed to do an IUI to make it happen.
We got very fortunate in that we got pg the second month of trying each time, but I was really worried about this happening also. |

I guess my husband and I are in this situation now. It only took one month to get pregnant with 3 year old DS. Then we tried again for 10 months, finally got pregnant and lost it. Then 3 months later got pregnant again and lost it. I never thought I'd be having these problems. Everyone just assumes since they got pregnant once, they can do it again with no trouble.

LukeysMom - I'm so sorry that you are going through that right now. You're right though - people just assume that it will be easy the second time around.
Hopefully it will happen soon for you and all will go well! |
