I just wanted to announce to every one after 10 months of TTC, I'm finally pregnant! My EDD is July 19. I am so excited, but a little nervous to have 2 kids. If anyone has any advice or words of encouragement I'd love to hear it. Thanks for reading!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Wonderful news! You must be so excited. Hey, you're an old pro now, right? I'm sure you'll handle it all just fine. Will you find out the gender? Or keep it a surprise?
Having two is so scary at first, but I promise it gets easier and is SO worth it. I was so scared about handling two, about my first feeling neglected, etc., but it's all worth it when you see how in love your two kiddos are with each other. There is nothing like it.
I won't lie - going from one to two was a HUGE adjustment, but it only takes a little while for it to become your new normal.

That is GREAT NEWS! Congratulations!!! My girls are two years apart and I love it! They are such good friends and already spend lots of time playing together even though they are only 1 and 3 years old. For me, the second baby was much easier. I felt like I kind of knew what to expect the second time around. I fixed things that I wish I would have done with my older daughter. Such as laying the baby in her bed to sleep instead of HAVING to sleep with Mommy and Daddy. There was no way I was having 4 of us in the bed together. lol! Anyway, congrats again and good luck!
That is so cool!!! I am sure you'll do great!! It's normal to be a bit nervous or anxious. My sister's kids are 14 months apart and they are so adorable together. You'll have a great time and lots of fun with them--I say this because I came from a big family and my siblings and I are very close together..SO yea...it's aweome!!
Congratulation! As everyone is saying above, you will be a pro at the next baby and it will be an adjustment again at first but once you get that second baby out of infancy then the two become playmates and you are in a great position! At this moment I am listening to my two girls play in their rooms (dress up) and my 5 year old is helping my 3 year old get a dress on. She also helped her do her potty this morning and reminded her to wipe (little mommy). Okay TMI, but I am excited for you!! YEAH!
My first child is 2 1/2.And yes I'll find out the gender. I'm definitely looking forward to this, but since I found out so early I have a long way to go. I am looking forward to them keeping each other entertained some. It'll be nice to actually get things done! I just have to work on potty training the first.
Thanks for asking how I'm feeling. I guess I should have posted this. 2 days after my OB appointment I miscarried. I started bleeding and having pain. It happened the day before Thanksgiving. The hardest part was having to tell people. I waited so long to get pregnant and everyone was so excited about this baby especially me. It came as such a shock. I'm ok now though. Thanks for reading everyone.
Dear Lukey's mom, I am new to this website and read your terribly sad news. Even though a lot of women have miscarriages, no one knows exactly how you feel and no one can understand what you went through, and are going through, except you. I am so sorry for your loss. On a personal note, prior to the birth of our daughter, our 3rd child, I too had a miscarriage. It is something no woman should have to experience b/c it is a baby. Anyway, one thing that I did differently with the next pregnancy was request that my ob/gyn prescribe me Progesterone. My level had been very low with our 1st, a son, so low that they kept telling me that I would more than likely lose him. I didnt. But when I lost the next baby I started on Progesterone and had a successful implantation and pregnancy. You might want to discuss this w/ you doc. I hope this info. can be of some help. Hang in there.
