Any of you dealing with a Dh who wants another, but you aren't ready yet? My husband really wants to have another, but I am not ready yet. I had a miserable first few months before and after my LO was born. I had no help, except what little my DH could give after he came home from work. My family nor his family did anything to help during those first few months. II was sooo big at the end of pregnancy it was hard to walk (remember Ronald was 11.4 at birth). So I am not quite gungho to have another yet. I told my DH I want to get our first out of diapers. He says his clock is ticking(he is 35) and he doesn't want to be 60 with a teenager

My DH has been ready since Jack was born. LOL. But he knows it has to happen on my timetable. I agree. I'm not ready yet. I am still loving having my body all to myself. Remember, I stopped bf'ing just 3 months ago.
But we're talking about trying for #2 later this year. I had a great pregnancy and I'm optimistic I'll have another one. My post-partum was a nightmare, though. I pray it's not that bad second time around. My mw in FL told me it won't be. I hope she's right. So I look forward to it and I am sort of dreading it too. ![]() |
