Are you trying to conceive? Share your experiences with other women doing the same. What methods are you using? How long have you been trying? What are your thoughts during this process?
Hi, my name is Casey. I've never posted before but I thought I would share my trying to conceive experience. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 10 months so far. It is extremely frustrating. So far we haven't really done anything to help with the process. We're just seeing what happens. At first I used to lay down for 20 minutes after sex and try and figure out when I was ovulating, but it took the fun out of sex with my husband, so now we're just winging it. I don't really think anything is wrong because we already have one child. He was an after wedding surprise. I'm just hoping and praying it happens naturally.
Boy have I got a book to recommend to you - it's an easy read and you can just skip to sections and pages so it's not a novel. I tried for 1.5 years and had 2 miscarriages before I figured out my body and THIS book helped. It really helps you figure out when your eggs are coming and how to just "know" and then plan that romantic evening around it. The book is called - "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, MPH. It's truly amazing the stuff in this book and it will, not only, help you get pregnant, but help you keep from getting pregnant after you are completely done with having kids.
