I'm thinking about either looking for a part-time job or doing something on my own to make money, such as cleaning houses or offices. Anyway, before I decide what I what I want to do I thought I'd look into what childcare is available. Does anyone know if any of the daycares accept babies on a part-time basis? If so, which ones would (or wouldn't) you recommend? Also, don't some churches have a mom's morning out program? DH works 8 to 5:30 most days M to F, so maybe if I do decide to get a PT job I could just work a couple of nights a week and weekends and avoid having to use day care. If I can't find something I can do during the hours he's at home, it may not be worth it...with the high cost of gas and child care... I just thought I'd look into the different options.

As we all know so well, it is definitely hard balancing work and life as a (new) mom. I hope you are able to find something that works well for you and your family. Regarding DC, I know First Presbyterian Church has PT childcare, but I don't know their availability. They have a good reputation as many of my colleagues take their children there. You may want to contact them. Goodluck!
