I am newish on here so can everyone tell me how many kids each of you have. How different is it from having 1 to 2 to 3 etc. I had many people tell me that my #2 would just blend in and for me that was so NOT true, it is alot of work having more than 1. I have also heard the same with having 3 children, so for you that have 3 kids is that fact true? Also, what are the differences in ages with everyones children and do you think that matters when you determine how "easy" it is in having more than 1 kid?

I'll go!

I have three - 4 1/2, 2 1/2, and 7 months. Boy, girl, boy.

As far as the blending in goes - I don't know about that. I think you just get a little more relaxed with each child - you don't worry quite as much because you know you've done it before. Don't get me wrong - I still walk to each room and put my hand on their chest to make sure they are still breathing before I can sleep at night - but I don't panic at the sniffles or a mild tempertature like I did with the first one.

I will also say that I am lucky in the sense that my three adore each other. You can ask Jonah who his best friend is and most of the time he will answer that it is Campbell - and vice versa. When Mason came along I wasn't sure how the other two would react to him - and then my only fear became that they would love him to death from trying to hug him and love on him all the time. Don't get me wrong - they have their moments. They still fight and annoy each other sometimes - but I think that comes with the territory.

One thing I do like about mine is the fact that because of their ages they will never know what life was like without each other.

I have three a 5 years, 3 years, and 19 months. I am more laid back with #3 than with #1. The thing I struggle with the most is going places, car rides are tough (even short ones). They play great with each other and have their moments. They do want their separate cuddle time, I can't hold two at the same time.

I have two girls - 4 and 17 months. For me, going from one to two was a HUGE transition. Whoever says it's easy lies!! LOL.

But, now that we're past the newborn stage, I love it. My oldest is so sweet to her sister (unless she takes her toys) and I could watch the two of them forever.

My little one is currently going through some separation anxiety, though, so she gets VERY jealous if my older daughter wants any attention from me. This too shall pass though.

I have 3. they are 6, 3.5 and 12 months.
They are exactly 2.5 yrs apart give or take a week on each one. When I was preggo with my 2nd I ask alot of people how the transistion would be. Everyone told me going from 1 to 2 was hard. but 2 to 3 to 4 to whatever was easy. It was not!! 1 to 2 was a breeze for us, I was amazed at how easy it was. Now after that being so easy I figured gosh one more isn't gonna make a big deal. OMG was I WRONG!!!!! Going from 2 to 3 was HUGE over here. I was alot tougher!
I think that if you want to have more than 2, you either have to have them super close, back to back, cause they are right there together you can do everything almost the same with them. Or you should have 2 of the 3 spaced out.
i have learned that when you have them the ages, 2.5 yrs apart, they are all in a completly different stage of life, they could all have the exact same thing happen, and all 3 would have to be handled in an exact different way. kwim? sorta like you're being pulled in 3 different directions 24 hours a day. LOL

I have 3, their ages are 8yr. 4yr. and 9mon. for me it was a big ordeal going from 1 to 2, but going from 2 to 3 was a breeze. My first two are boys and my third one is a girl and my boys are very protective of their little sister and that sometimes tends to be a problem, but overall they all three play and get along really well together.

I have 2 girls and my sister has 3 children. I think it's all a readjustment when you add any child to your family. From one to two rocked my world. My sister said the same thing happened again from 2 to 3 for her. It also depends on the temperment of each child, I think. Good luck and just go for it! Christ, my grandmother had 6!

I have two onlies Wink, so I wouldn't know how having two LOs at once might change things. I'd think it would be chaotic and tough to deal with a lot of the time, though.
