I absolutely hate, hate, hate, changing the sheets on my baby's crib. Is anyone with me here? It's such a struggle! Ugh. (Can you tell I just finished doing it? LOL)

I hate, hate, hate it too. But, at least now, we don't have our rails on the bed, so it is MUCH easier.

This is what I would do: I had several sheets and several waterproof pads. One day, I had the idea to just take out the mattress and layer all of them on the bed at once and then put the mattress back in. Then, as they got dirty, I would just peel off one layer. It would take several weeks to get to the bottom. (If you change sheets once a week.)

At first, I worried about them coming off or maybe being too fluffy or padded and causing a hazard. Once I got them on, though, I realized that they were very secure and taut and wouldn't pose a suffocation risk. (IMHO)
