I am so sad bcs my LO turned one friday, had his party saturday, and today he changed rooms at day care. All 3 changes at once are killing me, I don't want to see him grow up. I never felt this way with my #1 but with my #2 I guess it is different bcs this is it, no more kids for me unless we adpot later. I am ok with his birthday because there is no way I could have stopped it but I dont think he was ready for the "older" room at day care yet. All of those other kids are already walking and he JUST started taking steps. They will put him to one nap per day which I think he will HATE and he is going to have to sleep on a cot. How is a 1 yr old gonna sleep on a cot without falling off? All of this is just depressing me, I hate to see how I get the few days before my #1 goes to Kindergarten....uggggg!! Why do kids have to grow up? I just want to super glue them to there current size so they dont get any bigger.

Happy Birthday to your LO!!!! I'm sure you had a great weekend celebrating it.
And I know what you mean. My baby is a little boy now. He just started putting short sentences together this past weekend. Aaaack!
Well, look at the bright side. By using the cot in daycare I bet it will help you train your LO for a big bed.
But yes, I totally agree. I don't want Jack to grow up either!
