I have my LO on the waiting list for our church's preschool, which by my understanding is like a mile long. Is there any other churches such as Northport Baptist that may have openings in the moms day out programs and what does the rates look like? Do they have different options like MWF or T Th or 5 days per week? Any websites?

Sorry, I can't help...I was wondering about mom's morning out programs, too! So, I hope someone replies to your post! Smiler

A while back I do remember seeing a sign out in front of Open Door Baptist advertising there MMO program for 1 to 4 year olds, but I don't know anything about it.

My LO has been at University Church Preschool since she was 3 months old and we love it. This is for children 6 weeks(i think) to 5(pre-k). They have several different times you can attend, full-time, MWF, T TH, and you can go half days or full days. I know that there is a waiting list, but I'm not sure how long it is. Here's the website www.universitycofc.org then just click on the preschool link.

Absmom, that is our church that my LO is on the waiting list for. I just want to put him somewhere until a spot opens up for him there. It is so clean there, my son loves going to the nursery on Sundays and I like the idea of having him in a place where I know the people that work there. It is well worth the wait......

HollyAnn, I didn't realize that the list is still so long. I know, 5 years ago when I found out I was pregnant, I got on the list asap. Even now, it seems to me that there are a lot more going to preschool there than 5 years ago. We also go to church there, are you 1st or 2nd service. We are 1st service.

Someone from my small group said that she put her son on the list when he was a baby and he just got in this january and he is 4, so I am going by that but I hope that a spot comes available very soon. That would be great! I think members get second pick for spots available so we will see. We usually go to 2nd service, we cant ever seem to make it on time for 1st. We have to rush just to make it to bible class every sunday but we do make it that early.
