I found this information in the latest issue of Toddler Magazine and thought it was helpful.

Here's what toddlers should be getting:

Carbs: 130 grams daily
Why: main source of energy for developing brains
How: Cheerios, oatmeal, all veggies, brown rice, potatoes, whole-grain breads, pasta

Fiber: 19 grams daily
Why: prevents constipation and helps digestion
How: whole grains, fruits, veggies, beans, peas, peanuts

Fat: 30 to 40 grams
Why: energy source, helps improve absorption of vital vitamins and aids neurological development
How: peanut butter, oils such as soybean, flaxseed, olive and canola, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, fish, eggs
Note: there is no nutritional need for fat-filled foods such as bakery goods and butter so limit these

Protein: 13 grams daily
Why: the building block for all the cells in your toddler's growing body
How: meat, poultry, fish, milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, nuts, beans

Calories:
Age 2: 1,000 calories daily
Age 3: 1,000 to 1,4000 calories daily
Age 4: Boys: 1,200 to 1,600 calories daily;
Girls: 1,200 to 1,400 calories daily
This is according to the United States Department of Agriculture
