Wow. This story says nearly HALF of all births are unplanned.
The report found that nearly two-fifths of women on the pill miss their daily dose at least once in the course of three months. I was on the pill for 11 years and, I admit, I did forget to take it from time to time. But then I would double up and use backup and I was totally paranoid. LOL. http://www.boston.com/news/health/articles/2008/05/26/o...ber_to_take_my_pill/ ![]() ![]() |

Ok - none of mine were planned. I wouldn't change it for the world - but they were all three "pill babies". I never missed a dose - never took an antibiotic when I didn't use back up - and yet they are all three here!
We just always said that it wasn't part of "our" plan - but obviously it was someone elses. |

My first LO wasn't planned and I got preggo with him while I was on the pill and I too like GG never missed a pill or took any antibiotics. But #2 and #3 were planned and it took longer to get preggo with them. Maybe I should have kept taking my pills and it would have happened sooner for us.

My LO was planned, but we just didn't plan for it to happen so quickly! I was preg w/in the first month of TTC. We thought it would probably take at least a few months....which would give us a little time to get used to the idea.
When I was on the pill there were a few times that I missed one and then took 2 the next day. I was sort of paranoid about forgetting it too, so I switched to the patch. Then, I stopped that after all the news about health risks. |
