A friend of mine was recently looking for good ideas for baby shower gifts.
It got me thinking about gifts I received that really stand out.

I received a kit that allows you to get baby's foot and hand print using ink and place it on the wall (I never would have thought to register for that and it's hanging up proudly in my son's room still).

Also a good book is priceless. People don't normally think about books because newborns are so young. But one of the books I got is our favorite today and we read it all the time.
