This had me in tears this morning. That poor mom. And I would have done the same exact thing. If a carjacker approached me and asked for my keys with Jack strapped in the back I wouldn't give them up either.
You know, it could have happened whether she was planning on leaving the baby in the car or not. I hear stories about people being carjacked after strapping their child in, while walking around the car to get into the front seat to drive away .... it's just one of those horrible tragedies that make me want to hug my babies close tonight.

You just never know when it can happen. Here this woman was getting out of her car when she was approached by some idiot wanting her car. I just can't imagine what she felt. What a heroic mom.
I would do the same thing for my babies. I dare someone to even try.

I would have done the same thing to. It is so sad. I can not believe that someone would kill a mother just because she refused to give him the keys. It makes me think twice about leaving Preston alone in the car even if for a moment.
