Hi ladies - fyi, we're under a thunderstorm warning. Ch. 13 is saying to stay indoors and stay away from windows because it could get nasty.
This has amazed me since I moved south. It can be a beautiful sunny day one minute and be a nasty horrible storm the next. And then go back to being sunny.
Hey, Kristi, we're actually under a watch here in Tuscaloosa until 7 tonight, which means that conditions are favorable to severe thunderstorms. There was a warning for Walker County - maybe that's what you saw? Tuscaloosa is not currently under any warnings. It can be confusing if you'e not used to it!
Ooops. Thanks LM! This New Yorker apparently needs a crash course in weather terminology around here. Hey, I can tell you all about blizzards, black ice and white out conditions, though. Any takers?
So far, nothing going on here. But it is starting to look darker. Is it raining where any of you are? My poor husband. He drives a jeep.
It rained pretty hard here for about an hour I guess. There was a lot of thunder and lightning. My LO got scared one time because it got really loud. I know it's amazing how it gets really bad and then clears up in no time.
