I wounder how they were on the plane for 40 minutes without noticing the child was missing. With a 3-year old wouldn't they have to make sure the child was properly buckled in and any carry on item the child had stowed under the seat? Or wouldn't the empty seat be a clue? |

Wow. I cannot imagine how this would happen. I mean, sure, they've got 5 kids and maybe they lost track of one in the shuffle to get on the plane. I can almost see how that might happen. Almost. But then to not realize it until you are in the air for 40 minutes? How is THAT possible?
