I am going to turn in my notice in a few minutes. I am more nervous about this than I was about the interview. I never know what to expect with my boss. Could be nice, could be not so nice. Guess I will see. There is a good feeling in knowing I will be free from this place soon. Like I have a special secret. Probably just excitement for the new job. I start when I finish my notice in two weeks. Yay! I will let you know how it goes.

Congratulations!! That's awesome!! I can't wait to celebrate tonight!! I know what you mean btw ... I am ALWAYS more nervous about the resignation part than anything else. Just keep your head held high, don't apologize, and thank your boss for the time you've spent, but say you found something that better suits your family's needs. YAY!! I missed this thread yesterday! Congrats, RM!!!!! I think it is so admirable that you recognized you disliked your job, and how it was affecting you, and you did something about it!! Pat yourself on the back.
Wish I could help you guys celebrate tonight--have a sour apple martini for me!
