I'm a stay-at-home Mom and the budget is pretty tight. Do any of you have any ideas on how to make some extra money from home. When I do on-line searches it's hard to find anything that's not a gimmick or "get rich quick" scheme.

I also may be interested in some types of part-time work outside of the home, if it is only a few hours a week and has a flexible schedule. I did in store product demonstrations a few times on Saturdays a couple of years ago. I've applied to do that again and haven't heard back from them yet. I liked that I only had to work when I booked an event and wasn't tied down to a set schedule.

I'd appreciate any ideas you all have!!!

How about becoming a rep for either The Body Shop or The Traveling Vineyard? I know people who have done this and basically you set up parties and make a percentage of what you sell. I was thinking about doing The Traveling Vineyard one at one point because I had such a ball when I went to a friend's party and I love wine. The rep told me it's a great way to make some extra money and she can work as much or as little as she wants. I went to a Body Shop party last year and we had a blast trying all the products and soaking our feet. We all made yummy appetizers. The rep seemed really happy with her line of work too.
If you have a party, I'll come!

This is children clothes www.chezami.com. Go under parties to find out info. I think you make 40% of what you sell. HTH

Thanks! The Body Shop parties sound fun. So do the Chez Ami parties. I went to the website and the clothes are all so cute. But I'm not sure if I know many people that can afford to spend that much money on children's clothing. They seem kind of pricey.

You might be talking about Creative Memories. That is the only one I know of for scrapbooking supplies.

When my teen was a baby, I worked as a part-time nanny for two preschoolers.
We both went, and we did it for a few hours a few days a week. And it was great because we made money, and my son got to spend time with me and with other kids. What's more, the preschoolers lived on a farm with horses and chickens, so it became a real learning experience for both of us!
Ever thought about trying to do something like that?
