Yes, Kristi, I'm convinced that we get puppies (or kittens) before we have children and it prepares us for having baby humans later. And now taking care of these senior dogs is preparing us for taking care of our elderly parents later!
A 3-hour nap! Did he do it?

Ashley- Sorry about the MIL trouble. She is definetely the one that is missing out.

KatieEm- What kind of dance classes do you take???

Lawmommy- You are too funny about the senior citizen dogs, sorry they are getting you up at night.

Kristi- I hope that Jack took a good nap for you and you got all your work done. It seems like on the days I need Liv to nap she is up in 30 minutes.

Well, Olivia's check up went well. She weights 24 lbs and is 31" tall. And of course she cried really bad when she got her shots, but was happy again by the time we got to the parking lot. So far she has been playing happily and hasn't had any reactions. MIL and I went shopping this afternoon. She bought me 5 new shirts Smiler

Livismom-Its not a class...I participate on my church's Dance team. Right now we are concentrating on contemporary. I hope we will soon do hip hop.

Today's my Birthday- YIPPEE!!! The big 3-2.

Kaitlyn woke me up tapping on me and when I open my eyes she said happy birthday. Why was this so odd...There was no one here but me and the kids so it wasn't like her father told her to do it. It brought tears to my eyes.

Happy Birthday KatieEm! I hope it's a wonderful day for you. And how special that you were woken up in such a sweet way.

Oh Ashley - you and I will have to trade some MIL stories. I've got a doozie! It's a great and wonderful thing that she lives in Dallas - trust me.

LivisMom - yea for the great checkup. And even better that you got to go shopping and be spoiled! We all need that every once in a while.

Kristi - sorry about the allergies. Everyone seems to be having a problem right now. I think someone even mentioned that the air quality has a lot to do with it. We've had all kinds of ozone alerts recently - so who knows.

I've had a crazy week. DH thinks he has a hernia - nice pain. Something he's been ignoring for a while and now just can't. Gotta love those sick men. The good thing is that my sister finds out what her three babies are this Wednesday - which is exciting. Of course that means a ton of shopping for me. But who doesn't love shopping for baby items!

Screw the perm - I am getting my hair whacked off!! So there perm gods!!

BTW - anyone that moves from the North to the South will ultimately spew their share of phlem for the first year or two of spring and summer. I am not sure why, but the South is the toughest place to live for those with allergies. I was up north for 2 weeks this summer and I felt like a million bucks, and there was no hummidity. I didn't know how to act.

Today - life is good, but I would like hard wood floors sometime soon.

ROTLF - "spew their share of phlem" - lovely.

Can I just say that there's just not enough Midol to help with the crampage going on in this household today. UGH.

KatieEm- Happy Birthday!! That is a wonderful way to start your day. I would have teared up too.

GG- How exciting about finding out the sex of the babies, i love baby shopping too Smiler

Well I just finished cleaning our floors, What a work out Smiler I always feel so proud of myself when I am finished because the rest of the house cleaning isn't as bad. We have all hardwood and tile through out the house. It is beautiful but so much work to maintain.
Olivia scared me and DH last night. At around 3:30 she started crying out kind of funny so DH went over to check on her. He called out for me to get up as he was bringing her back to our room. She was shaking uncontrolably like she was cold So I took her temp. It was 100. I am guessing that the tylenol i gave her at bedtime had worn off and her fever was going up and giving her the chills. We gave her some more tylenol and let her cuddle in between us until she warmed up and fell back to sleep. It took me a while to calm back down and go to sleep. She hasn't been sick alot and hasn't had alot of reactions to her vaccines so I wasn't used to seeing her with a fever like that.

LivisMom, that sounds scary. I believe that uncontrollable shaking can be a vaccine reaction in and of itself. I would watch her and if she shows any further signs of a reaction or if her fever spikes up (it's difficult to know how high it really is, though, if you're already treating it with medicine), I would call her doctor.

GG, your sis is having TRIPLETS?
Did I know this? Why did I think she was having twins?
Wow! Let us know when she finds out the genders.

LivisMom, I get worked up when Jack has a fever too. It's only happened a few times and it makes me so nervous. The highest it's been is 103 something. Hope she feels better.

Oh, and LawMommy, yes, Jack napped for nearly 3 hours yesterday. However, today we're looking at about 45 minutes (I think I hear him). He's very inconsistent lately. And LOL - still - about the dogs.

Yep - triplets. Bless her little heart...lol. They are excited - and a little nervous too. The good thing is that this is their first so she has no idea what to expect. She will be a great mom though. I have no worries about her. She'll find what works for her and have those babies in a routine so fast that it will make us all jealous.

GoodGolly- An old friend of mine is having triplets as well, your sisters name isn't Brandy is it?

And my random thought is I wish MNO was this weekend cause I desperately want to get out of the house. Anyone wanna go with me? I have a babysitter I need to take advantage of til she goes home! (my sister is staying with me til August)

OMG!! I can't imagine having triplets! I hope your sis's pregnancey is going well!

Has anyone noticed that it seems like a lot more people are having multiples recently? There were 3 sets of twins in the baby talk program at UA that I was taking Will to and 2 sets belonged to the same mom! Sunday Will went to the church nursery for the first time and there were 2 sets of twins in there. I also recently met another mom of twins and it seems like I see twins all the time now when I'm out grocery shopping and stuff. I sure hope it's not contagious!!! lol...
