Hi All! I am interested in starting a mom's group that meets once a week or once every other week. I, like many of you probably, am in need of a few good friends that I have something in common with, and want to know how many of you would be interested in meeting up. We can start meetings somewhere public so that everyone can get to know each other. If alot of people are interested, then maybe there can be several groups possibly split up by children's age so that we all have more in common. I have lots of ideas. I was thinking about Saturdays just because that is when I have the most free time, but whatever day is the easiest for the majority would be fine. We could even do every other meeting baby free with just the girls if everyone is interested in doing so. Please post your first name and childs age if you are interested. Once there are enough people, then we can all decide on a place and time.

I would be interested. I am mom to Anabelle, who is a little over 3 and 1/2, and Amelia who is 10 and 1/2 months old.

I work during the week, so I would only be able to participate on weekends.

Sounds good. I have a 3 year old daughter and a 17 month old son.

I would be interested also. I am mom to Hayden, who will be 4 in Dec. But like Moozle I work during the week, so I would only be able to participate on weekends also.

Hi my name is Olympia, I have 2 boys Stihl 3 1/2 and Kahne who just turned 2. I'm a stay at home mom and would love to get out during the week as we do family stuff on the weekends.

Are there any moms with older kids who would like to meet up? I have four children ages 8 (girl), 7 (boy), 5 (boy), and 4 (girl).

So it seems there are working moms who want to get together on a Saturday. And there are stay-at-home moms who would rather get together during the week. Perhaps we should plan two different meet-ups then. What do you ladies think? I'm happy to coordinate. I'll create two different discussions - one for each group. That way the planning can begin.

We are in the middle of planning our next meet up. It will be mid-week. Check out the weekday meet up thread in this forum for more info. If weekends are better for you, we will soon be planning another. Feel free to start the discussion!

Anytime is good for me except Tues. and Thurs.
Jesse is in dayschool from eightish to twelve at NB church. She LOVES to play with kids .although she is in her terrible almost 3's. Boy do I need advice and support on that!
