All right, who's game? There's been some interest from our Pop Culture thread on seeing the movie Baby Mama.
So how about if we make it our first Moms Night Out?

Does Friday, May 9th work?

We can meet at the theater. Then get a drink afterwards. Or get a drink before. Or not get a drink at all. Whatever people want to do.
We'll figure out the details.

The point is, who wants to go to the movie and can make it on the 9th?
Then we'll make more exact plans.

I'M SO IN! I haven't been to a movie since November. And my DH said he'd stay home with Jack. Woo hoo!

I'M IN ALL THE WAY! I will do whatever everyone else wants as far as the drinks are concerned.

I will have to double check with DH about baby-sitting, but I am sure he won't mind for a few hours.

I'm going to do what I can to get there!

And if I'm getting a night out without LOs and hubby - there WILL be drinks involved - even if I'm doing it by myself!

This sounds GREAT! I hope I can come. My LO birthday party is on May 10th so the in laws may be in town on that Friday. If they wait until Saturday to show up then I am in.

Moms night out sounds SOOO fun! I was just wondering since I just joined the site does this include me as well? I have noticed that a lot of the same people reply to a lot of the posts and I wasn't sure if you guys had a specific group or anything like that.

Yes, yes, yes it includes you!! Some of us have been here on the site a while (but not that long, the site launched in Nov). And we have new moms joining every day and we're all THRILLED about it. The more the merrier!

Some of us who have been posting for months have actually just met this month. So we are all just getting to know each other in person and we'd love for you to join us.

We all just met really for the first time last night at the book club. There are several of us that post alot, but we don't have any groups or anything like that. We all just chat and talk about everything. It's great!

I had to tell those of you that weren't there last night, that when I told DH about the mom's night out, he said, "Well, I want to join some activities" LOL! Can you tell we have been out of the loop and haven't had much contact with the outside world since our LO was born? I have been telling him for months he needs to have a guys night with his best friends. He cracks me up!

Thanks Kristi and Ronald's mom! Hopefully I can make it but not sure of the hubbys work schedule. As far as your husband wanting to "join activities" mine is the exact same! He gets all bummed out because there are no "daddy/baby" groups. Maybe thats an idea, of course who knows how many would be into it. Perhaps "couples night" would be fun? Who knows, just throwing out ideas!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to come or not. We are going out of town and leaving Saturday morning. So, I guess it all depends on how late y'all are planning to stay out and how early in the morning we decide to leave Saturday. I'll let y'all know later next week. Anyway, if I do come there will be no drinks for me! Don't need to pass the alcohol on to the LO!

Awwww, I am bummed that I will miss it! Ashley and I are IRL friends who are both VERY interested in getting involved in mom stuff around town. But, I am will be driving to Florida that night.

Maybe you guys will have so much fun that you will decide to do it again soon.

I had the dates confused when I looked at this the first time, my surgery is tomorrow so I might actually feel like seeing a movie by next friday. Count me in as a Maybe. We'll just have to see how my recovery is coming.

Ronaldsmom and Ashely- My DH was the same way, he was like "Well I would like to see that movie too" when i mentioned it. Planning a family activity might not be such a bad idea for the future
