Hi Ladies A number of you have expressed interest in my idea for trying to establish a cooking club. To get this ball officially rolling, I think it would be good to go to the Tuscaloosa Library and have a one hour meeting (max) in one of their conference rooms for those who are interested. I am thinking next Saturday 8/2 or Sunday 8/3 or the following weekend. 8/9, 8/10. I will reserve the room once a date and time are chosen.
Sorry to be unclear. We would meet to discuss the format for the club and plan all of the details (location, hosts, theme, dishes, etc.) for the first dinner. I thought the library would be a good place to access cookbooks, recipes, etc, and to exchange ideas about what kinds of food people are interesting in cooking.
I am trying to arrange a time for our CC planning meeting. Is there anyone else who wants to be a part of the CC and the fun? I know that there are more of you Please jump in and write back if you do.
So far, the two times already selected on the recent poll are sunday, august 3rd, 12-1 or tuesday, august 5th, 6:30- 7:30. (I need to remove the first poll, but I don't know how) Kristi and MyMcDreamysMama, which one can you do? Please let me know who is interested and when you can meet. I hope we can get cooking soon.
I too can do either and will have a babysitter available. Plus, I am selling Pampered Chef so I have a lot of resources at my disposal that we can use.
I just found out my DH has to work Sunday so I will now be home with Jack. And that's right at his nap time. My babysitters are all MIA because I've been trying to get one so we can go to the movies this weekend. Bummer! I will have to catch the next meeting.
Yes, come on by, April, if you can. It would be fun to have you there. If you cannot come by, no worries. So MyMcDreamysMama, I will see you tomorrow and anyone else if they can make it.
