Dh is so making fun of me for going to see SATC by the way. Neither of us watched the show b/c we share a mutual loathing for Sarah Jessica Parker (sorry!!!), so he's actually not complaining at all that I'm going out without him!

I'm just happy to get together with you guys again - and hopefully meet some new folks!

And we're still doing more people watching at a bar afterwards, right? That was a BLAST last time!!

I've never watched Sex and the City. I know, I'm nuts. I'm sure I'd have loved it, but I really am NOT a fan of SJP.

In any case, I AM going to our girls night out regardless, but will I have any idea what's going on in the movie? LOL.

Oh - and where are we headed afterwards? Do we want to try Temerson Bar this time? Especially if there are more of us and we want a little less noise?

I think you should get the idea of the movie pretty quickly. I'm thinking that from even hearing about the show you should be able to figure it out.

I'm definitely thinking we need to try somewhere new this time around. The Velcro Pygmies are going to be at Rhythm & Brews that Friday night, and as good as everyone says they are it will be PACKED. I'm sure the people watching would be worth it - but we wouldn't be able to hear a thing or move around at all. Temerson Bar would be fine with me!

They give a little synopsis at the beginning...but if you don't like SJP, you're in trouble. I haven't been to a movie in so long..I'm glad I caught a good one.

LOL. I actually never watched it until the entire show ended. I caught it On Demand and got hooked.
Interesting who annoys who. SJP doesn't bother me at all. My DH can't stand her though.
You should be fine. I think you'll still laugh at some of the humor and situations. And us fans can always fill you in if you need to know anything.

AAHHHHHHHH!!!! So. I totally forgot that DH and a colleage have organized a conference that they are hosting this weekend on campus. Thursday - Sunday to be exact. So I was supposed to be on kid duty Friday night b/c they are taking folks on the Bama Belle.

However, all is not lost ... I have an email in to our babysitter to see if she is available to sit on Friday. If so, I'm still a go. I am sooo ready for our get together and will be so sad if I have to miss it!!! Hopefully she doesn't already have plans and can watch the girls for me.

Hey guys...sorry I have been MIA. I took a few days off two weeks ago between jobs, and since starting my new job don't really have much access to a computer. I have dial-up at home which takes foooooooorever so I haven't posted any. I am trying to get Comcast high-speed now, so hopefully in a couple of weeks I can come on every day. Keep your fingers crossed.
