I would like to come but it also depends what day. Lily will turn 1 on July 25 and we will have a lot going on at the end of the month. I could maybe do mornings depnding on where and when but afternoons would probably be better.
The mornings really worked out well for us and I enjoyed having it on a Friday. The begining of the week always seems to be the most busy for us. It was a great way to close out the week.
I am just throwing out a date but how about July 18th?
If anyone isn't available to host it at thier home I really liked Kristi's idea of meeting at Shelby Park and letting the walking LO's play in the water and setting up a blanket for the smaller babies to play on.
I liked the idea of meeting at the park. The mornings are better for us, because we usually have alot going on in the afternoons. July 18th is also fine with me.
Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I took Olivia to the UCP park in Northport this morning and I thought it would be a great location for us to hold a Baby Social sometime. There is a great variety of playground equipment for all ages, padded flooring around all of the play equipment, a covered pavillion in the center of the playground with tables and chairs, and it is all fenced in. We were there from 10:00-10:30 and I did noticed that it was starting to get too hot at around 10:30. Just a suggestion for location ideas
Ok, so I guess everyone pretty much is agreement for the 18th. Now we just need to agree on a park or place! I guess I don't have a preference as to which park. I'm not even familiar with some of them. (Gosh you can tell I don't get out much)
Are we going to do snacks instead of breakfast food this time since we are meeting later in the morning??? Just asking so i can get my grocery list made
Ohhh and does anymore know of a good place to get some shoes that Olivia can wear while she runs around in the water?
Preston and I will be there. Let me know what to bring. Livsmom, you might try target...I think I saw some shoes that might work when I was there the other day.
