Spit up, the new fashion statement.

I would like to toss the idea of having a Mommy/Baby lunch maybe once a month or so. Just a time where Mom's and babies can socialize and have a good time. If anyone is interested lets start making plans. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Sounds good to me but where would the lunch be? At a restaurant or someone's house or?

Ashley- I think this sounds like lots of fun. We would probably need to set a date and schedule a reservation pretty far ahead to ensure table availablity and enough highchairs Smiler We have so many yummy restaurants in Tuscaloosa, it will be hard to choose.

Awesome! Glad you ladies are interested. Next big question is where, when, and what time is good for everyone?

That sounds like a lot of fun. When the date is set, I will know if we can come.

This is a great idea.
What are some baby friendly places around here? Let's brainstorm.

Panera has a great children's menu and lots of high chairs. Also a nice long table we could all snag. However, that place is always slammed at lunch time.

Where else?

Mexican restaurants are usually good for groups, we would need to call and make sure they had enough highchairs to accommodate us though. I also think we should aim for getting there (wherever we may choose) around 11 or 11:30. Would that be alright with everyone?

Formally known as "AprilZ".

Ash, I really like this idea. Also, you might want to find a place that has a separate room for us to be in, so we can be as rowdy as we want (with that many babies, it won't be quiet!) and it will be easier to keep the walkers contained.

I do think that Full Moon BBQ has a back room they can set up for us. I am sure there are others.

Yeah, the issue that I can see is that it could get really loud with that many babies so it definitley needs to be somewhere baby-friendly. And my LO usually won't sit in a restaurant high-chair for more than 5 minutes (sometimes less) without having a tantrum.

Full Moom BBQ sounds good! They have good food. 11 or 11:30 is good too. Has a date been set yet?

I've never been to Full Moon BBQ so I don't know what it's like there. I like July 30th better of the two days you mentioned. 11 or 11:30 should be fine.
