I think I would rather the guys start their own group-LOL! It may sound a little selfish, but I am enjoying the fact that I can get together with other women w/out kids and DH's. I am not against a family get-together though, maybe we can do one later this summer. Just liking the me time. I don't get nearly enough of it.

Ashley & AprilZ- Were y'all at the library story time yesterday? Your babies look familiar, but it's hard to tell because the pictures on here are so small.

RM- Ohhh i didn't mean to stop the girl's only stuff. I too am in desperate need of some me time and am really looking forward to the possibility of a fun evening out. Just an idea for future activities. I just found it funny that DH wanted to see that movie, i figured he'd consider that a chick flick.

Well I don't know if I will be able to come or not. My husband is trying to convince me to have another date night. I think I would rather do the girls night thing this time! So I'll have to let everyone know when it gets closer.

Definitely a great idea LM! I think my DH is just a little jealous that I am going out and he is not. I hope you are feeling well enough to make it this Friday!

So what time do we want to try and see the movie? And where does everyone want to get drinks at afterward? I have no suggestions about where to go, as I haven't really been out to a bar in 6 months, and it was a year and a half before that.

I need to check the movie times but usually it's 7-7:30ish, right?
As for afterwards....let's start throwing out some ideas.
Do we want to go downtown? Or to a restaurant with a bar closer to the theater?
Downtown I like Innisfree. I haven't really been to much.
Anyone?

I think I will be able to make the movie so I am so excited! I will probably just go on home after the movie though, because I have to be somewhere on Saturday morning and don't want to stay out too late.

According to the Cobb 16 website - the movie is at 7:30 this Friday night - so not too bad at all.

Innisfree is great with me. I haven't been down there in so long that I forget what is still there!

I don't think I've ever been in the Innisfree. I am game for wherever y'all decide. Timing wise that sounds good to me!!

A few other suggestions for after the movie ... Temerson Bar (new, in Temerson Square, supposed to be awesome but I've never been), Rhythm and Blues (also in Temerson Square, I've never been but heard good things, will probably have music), and Catch 22 (really cool, tiny and intimate and has outdoor seating too, and has really yummy infused vodka drinks).

The last time DH and I went out we went to Rhythm and Blues. While it was fun for us, if we girls hope to be able to chat it probably is not the best place to go. The music is turned up to deafening Mach 3 level, and DH and I had to lipread to talk. It is also always swamped in there. Standing room only most of the times I have been. I saw Temerson Bar, but didn't go in-it was slow in there when I passed by. (looked kind of cool with pool tables and booths to sit in though). I have never been to Catch 22, but the drinks sound yummy.

OOoh, Temerson Bar sounds cool. I'm always up for checking out new spots!

Ya know, I just realized we are deciding which bar we want to go to when they are all within a block of each other . Why don't we decide which bar we want to meet up at, then decide when we get there whether we want to stay there or not. It seems silly to fret over who wants to go where when they are all right next to each other LOL!
