Check this out. I was reading this in Parents Magazine...a 4 month old baby almost had to have her toe amputated because a random stray hair from her socks (happened in the laundry maybe) got wrapped around her toe. The mom noticed it when changing the diaper. The toe was purple and the mom had to have a doctor use special tools and a magnifying glass to get it off. Wow. Talk about freak accidents.
