I LOVE the doctors at Tusc. Peds., but the wait time is really getting to me. Today we sat in the waiting room over 45 minutes, then another 45 in the room. My 15 month old was about ready to climb the walls as was I! We were there for a well check and I know this is the time for colds and other bugs, but I think they are definitely overscheduling appts. Do those of you that use other peds in town have the same problem? I am seriously thinking about switching my kids to our family doctor since the other two kids are almost 3 and 5.
That does sound frustrating. I have not experienced this at Bama Pediatrics. We are taken fairly quickly every time. I have only sat in the waiting room for probably 10-15 minutes tops. And once we're in the room, the doc is usually in within 5 minutes. HTH
When I was pregnant with my third baby I switched my other two children from their pediatrician to a family doctor. So far I have been pleased with the care that they have received.
