Anyone hear of this? I read about it in Parents Magazine and thought it was cool -- tables and toy boxes made of chalkboard so your child can draw on them.
You can also save yourself some money and do this yourself, btw, by buying some chalkboard paint. Paint a wall or a piece of old furniture with it. Anyone ever do this?
Here are some places selling chalkboard furniture:

Half our tot's room is painted in the stuff. We used it around the bottom half of his wall (like a chair-rail, I think it's called) when we changed his room from a nursery (fairytales) to a preschooler's room (A HUUGE map of America & lots of old fashioned cars, trucks & planes to make it a 'travel' theme), and we all love it! I am a little concerned about all the chalk dust, though.

We have a chalkboard table...that we bought, not painted ourselves, but it sounds like a good idea to do it yourself too.
