A teacher is in trouble for being too explicit in sex-ed class. No one is saying exactly what she said. But she talked explicitly and showed photos.

I read this article and think its terrible that this teacher is being punished even though it didn't say exactly what she said. It did mention some of the topics she discussed and I feel they are perfectly relevant and needed. Sexually transmitted diseases are steadily on the rise (in both teens, but even more so in those over 45!) and "abstinence only" programs are not only ineffective, but downright dangerous. Children will learn about sex, but usually its from books, tv, and porn. Personally, I would rather my kids get the truth.
