Listen to blues and jazz under the stars Thursday night (June 12) at the Ray Jenkins Arena at Sokol Park from 7 to 9 p.m. and raise money for local animals (PAWS).
The cost is $5 per person and $10 per family. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and your dogs (on a leash, of course). Food and drink will be sold there. Parking is free.
The concert is by Debbie Bonds & the Kokomo Blues Band (she runs the Alabama Blues Project here in Tuscaloosa).

I think we're going to check this out tonight--we're always looking for stuff to do during the week. Any ideas on what type of food they'll be serving??? Trying to decide if I should pack dinner.

I'm not sure. I'm guessing the usual fast-food type vending stuff. But if you call the number listed in the calendar I'm sure they could tell you.
