If your DH is looking for something different to do with your LO this Father's Day, how about doing a little knitting at Barnes & Noble in Midtown Village?
Saturday fathers and children and grandfathers and grandchildren can take part in a knitting extravaganza. Children must be at least 6 years old to take part. Admission is free and supplies will be provided. Knitting projects, books and products will be on display and local instructors from Bobbins and Needles (a local knitting group) will lead each class. This is all part of the World Wide Knit in Public Day, the largest knitting event in the world. Here's the breakdown of the day's activities: Noon to 1 p.m.: Father, Daughter Knitting Hour 1 to 2 p.m.: Knitting for Charity 2 to 3 p.m.: Knit Repair Clinic 3 to 4 p.m.: Make Your Own Yarn OR Learn Advanced Techniques |
