At a housing fair I did at the beginning of the month, I attached peppermints to my business cards. You might could do the same with your chocolates.

I think mounting some pics on a board is a great idea! It should only take a couple of hours to do. We backed some of our pics with black paper and some with colored contruction paper at our last housing fair. I am sure you have done this kind of thing before though.

You know, I don't think I own a solid black shirt. I have some with black stripes, but no solid ones. I like the idea of dressing similar. The shirt I was thinking of is between green and lime green. It is collared, but cotton. I can go with slack and a blouse, but I don't have khaki slacks, they are brown (I have black too). Sorry for being difficult, but I just don't spend alot of money on clothes, so I don't have a huge selection, just enough to get me by. Let me know what you would like me to do.

Well, I'm glad you guys brought up clothes b/c I was just planning on wearing jeans!!!LOL!! Does it count that they were my nice Joe's Jeans???

Ok, I'm good for whatever clothing wise. Khaki pants and a black shirt is fine. I can do brown or black pants too if that's easier. Too bad we don't have tuscmoms shirts!

Ok, just reread. I can wear a lime green shirt if that's what Ronald'smom is wearing (What is your name btw?).

As for the display.... I think a board would be great. You could get one of the science fair display type boards. I can print some pictures in color if you want me to. Would we need permission to use pics from this site? We can at least use ones of our LOs, and the logo, etc.

Candy is always good too.

And didn't you say there would be some games/acitivies/drawings? That will take up room too.

If you would like some help with the board and pics, let me know too. I can spare some time one evening after work. It would be around 6 before I could meet you guys somewhere if you would like the help.

My name is April Smiler. I used to post it, but got tired of typing it in every time.

Let me know about what we should wear Kristi. I am game for whatever, as long as I have it in my closet. LOL!

I have brown pants and a lime green shirt!
That cool? Let's go with it. I guess it would look nice if we're coordinated. And I'll pick up some nametags. Also, the website is lime green too! So it all makes sense. LOL. I'm such a dork.

As for the pictures on the board...I'm just waiting for my marketing person to see if there is an easel at the paper I can borrow. And all pictures on the site are the property of Tuscmoms.com, so we can print them out and use them for the display no problem.

Let me get back to you on whether I'm going to do the whole picture thing...

Not yet...
Hopefully it wouldn't be too much heavy lifting to create a board. I have a photo printer here at my house. And lots of colored paper and stencils thanks to my scrapbooking obsession. Smiler
I'd just need to go out and get a sturdy poster board -- WalMart?

P.S. I meant to say before - thanks for thinking of us MyMcDreamysMama! Good luck at the Autism Walk. That's awesome that you're doing that. And if you go to Babypalooza, please stop by our table!

You can try Walmart. If they don't have one Hobby Lobby and Michaels surely will. One of our other property managers found one that is not brown on the back, it is solid white front and back. I must say it looked much nicer.

It looks like we've got an easel.
So I bought a foam poster board at Walmart today. It's black. Smiler

We're in good shape! I printed out a bunch of cute photos from the site last night and they look great.
I think it's a nice touch to have pics of babies there too.

I've got plans tomorrow, but I'm going to try to stop by Babypalooza for a little while. If I do, I'll see y'all there!

Does anyone have any idea when they are doing the diaper derby? My MIL said that was really cute last year. I didn't go last year because I was pregnant, in a bad mood, and tired of baby stuff. lol...
