It looks like Tuscmoms is going to be there. Yay! If anyone is there and wants to stop by our table and say hello, I'd love that. Or if anyone feels like helping me out, I'd welcome the help! Just let me know.
It should be fun!

Thanks guys!
It'll be fun!
We're working on the specifics but right now I think we're going to have a nice banner with our logo and a computer set up to walk moms through the site.
We'll do a giveaway and offer free swag and have moms signing up. I'll also be taking pictures for the site. So there will be plenty to do!
The event is from 10 to 3 so whatever time you can spare that day to stop by and help out would be awesome. Smiler
As it gets closer we'll finalize plans.

Babypalooza is this Saturday!
Chime in here if you want to stop by and work the table for a bit.
Lots of fun stuff going on. I'll be helping moms enter a giveaway contest and handing out free stuff and helping them register and telling them about the site and taking pictures of babies. So there's plenty to do and I could use the help!
For those who have already expressed interest, THANK YOU! I'll PM you my cell so you know how to reach me that day. And we can touch base this week too. The event is from 10 to 3.
I'll see if I can find out where exactly our booth will be so you know where to go.
It should be lots of fun! Big Grin

Kristi - I'm still game for whatever help you need. I'd prefer to take the earlier shift (say 10-12 or so ... I can stay later), but can work around whenever you need the most help.

Now ... I'm all about the free stuff and giveaways. Can we still enter if we help?? LOL

I am still able to help as well. I know my niece has a softball game that afternoon, and I am trying to get up with my SIL to find out the exact time. I think it was 4, so I can stay for several hours if you need me to. My question is should we bring our LO's, or leave them with Daddy?

Thanks ladies!
Ronaldsmom, if you can come early afternoon since Moozle will be there to help in the morning that would be great.
I am leaving Jack with my mom who is flying in tomorrow to visit us for a few weeks.
But it's up to you if you want to bring your LO. I'm just grateful for the help. Smiler

I can be there at 12 when Moozle said she would leave, and I should be able to stay until 3. That is unless my nieces game is before 4pm. I will know more tonight. I couldn't get my SIL on the phone yesterday to find out. I will see if my DH will come and take Ronald around to the rest of the festivities. That way I can concentrate on helping, and Ronald can still have fun. Otherwise, I will probably leave him at home, because he would just be wanting to run around everywhere. Sound Good to you Kristi and Moozle?

Hope your mom has an easy flight with all of the cancellations that have been going on recently.

Ok, I'll plan on being there at 10 then! Do you know where you'll be set up yet?

If I come without the kids, by the way, I can probably stay later than noon. If my DH is there walking around with the girls, he'll be ready to drag me away after 2 hours. LOL.

Thanks so much, guys! Big Grin
I'm being told that I need to go to the main booth when I get there and they'll tell me where my table is.
So....either do the same. OR call my cell and I'll tell you where I am.
I'll PM the number to you both.

And, thanks Ronaldsmom. I'm glad my mom is going to be here this weekend because DH has to work on Saturday and that would have been quite the challenge doing this event with Jack there.

Kristi--Wish I could help you. We are doing the Autism Walk in the morning, then have a bday party in the afternoon. But, if weather is bad in the morning, I'll be there!

Good luck!

So, I feel silly for asking this, but I didn't go to the festivities last year. What should I wear? I just don't want to show up under or over-dressed. I was thinking of khaki bermuda shorts and a polo-like top. Or should I do slacks and a blouse? Just let me know what you think. Sorry for the silly question. Big Grin

I went last summer. It was pretty casual. Moms are in their street clothes. I think I remember exhibitors being in nice clothes but nothing fancy.
So...good question. Hmmm. I tend to go with the motto -- better to be overdressed than underdressed. LOL. I'll probably wear slacks or khaki shorts and a blouse and flats. It sounds like we're on the same page.
Ya know, now that you bring it up, it says in the materials for exhibitors that it's a nice touch if everyone at the table is dressed somewhat alike. But I'm not sure how I feel about that. If we did that, I guess we three could do khaki shorts or pants and a black shirt or something basic like that. What do you think? Should we do that or just wear whatever?
I've never done this before so I'm up for suggestions!
Thoughts? Moozle?

Also, if you ladies have any thoughts on how to make the table more inviting....I was thinking of offering some mini chocolates or something like that.
And, I'm not sure I could pull this off by Saturday, but a friend suggested pulling some cute pics from the site and mounting them on a board.
