Raise money for a good cause and enjoy some family fun at the Laps for CF (Cystic Fibrosis) event taking place at the University of Alabama Aquatics Center Friday April 18 at 4:30 p.m.
There will be swimming and diving exhibitions, food, live entertainment and children's activities. Cost: $5 donation, which includes food. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease where a defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce a thick, sticky mucus. This mucus clogs the lungs and obstructs the pancreas. About 30,000 children and adults suffere from CF in the U.S. with approximately 400 of them living in Alabama. Call 871-9140 for more information ![]() |
